Your EV won’t start in a Paradise resort lot. The dash is dark, or the pack is empty. Searching EV service rescue vs repair names two jobs, not one. A referral rescue brings Level 2 power or a 12V fix to the car. A shop visit is for diagnosis, parts, and warranty work. Charge Pro LV connects you with independent operators and does no repair work.

A dead EV is still more than one failure

A Tesla, Rivian, or Chevy can look identical when it sits still. You get blank screens and handles that don’t present. A plug may sit in the port and never start a session. A drained 12-volt battery can cause all of that. An empty high-voltage pack can cause it too. A failed part that only a shop can reach can cause it as well. Sort the failure before you pick a number.

Valley heat makes the 12-volt stall a frequent job. NWS Las Vegas puts the average July high at 104.5F. About 78 days a year reach 100F or more. About 9.4 days reach 110F or more. The all-time record high is 120F, set on 2024-07-07. Sensors at Harry Reid often run 5 to 15F warmer than outlying areas. East valley streets and downtown can run up to 11F hotter than the rim. A car that baked in Winchester or Sunrise Manor sat in a hotter basin.

Recurrent Auto found about 5% range loss at 90F. The same study found about 17 to 18% loss at 100F. Cabin cooling drew 3 to 5 kW to cool a hot interior. Holding that cabin later drew about 1 kW. AAA, in May 2026, measured 8.5% range loss at 95F. No Tesla-published range-loss figure was located for this page. Treat the trip computer as a guess in July, not a lab. Heat can empty a pack on I-15 or the Red Rock scenic loop. Heat still doesn’t prove a motor or inverter is healthy.

If the car still rolls, book a shop

A dealer or EV-capable independent is the right call when you can still drive. Persistent dash warnings belong on a shop work order. So do new noises, a pull in the steering, or climate that quit. Range that keeps falling on flat streets, with no heat wave, is a shop question. So is a charge port that faults on every pedestal you try.

Shops have lifts, parts, and the software for warranty and recall work. They replace cabin filters and inspect brakes on a rack. They chase an onboard charger that never wakes. None of that happens on a CC-215 shoulder. None of it happens in Harry Reid Long Term parking.

Nevada has no state EV purchase rebate at all. A Level 2 home charger still needs an electrical permit. Those rules live on the electrician and shop side. They don’t change what a roadside operator can do at your bumper.

Get a drivable car to the brand’s service lane. Don’t wait for it to strand you on US-95.

If it won’t roll, you need help at the bumper

Rescue is for a car that can’t move under its own power. That includes an empty pack or a dead 12-volt after a hot sit. It includes a lockout after hours at Sphere or Allegiant Stadium. It includes Las Vegas Convention Center parking after a show day. It includes the Strip corridor in Paradise or Winchester. Those two places are unincorporated Clark County, not the City of Las Vegas.

The operators we refer bring a 240-volt Level 2 source to the vehicle. Teslas take a native NACS plug at the car. Other brands use a CCS or J1772 adapter. Typical charging time adds about 10 to 20 miles in 15 to 30 minutes. That’s time on the cable, not a promise of when someone arrives. The same operators jump or replace a dead 12-volt battery on site. They handle Tesla and every major EV brand.

Call for EV roadside assistance when you’re immobilized. Ask for mobile EV charging when the pack is empty and you need miles. A Tesla 12V jump is the usual first move when screens are dark. Use that path when the pack wasn’t already at zero. For that split, read what happens when an EV 12V dies in the valley. Weigh a hook versus a charge in charge, jump, or tow when the EV dies.

The operator quotes you before work starts and bills you directly. Charge Pro LV doesn’t set prices, own trucks, or employ technicians.

Local roads change why you stalled

Valley floor elevation runs about 2,000 to 2,920 feet. Henderson sits near 1,867 feet on the south side. Summerlin sits near 3,500 feet and rises toward 4,400 near Red Rock Canyon. A west-rim grade spends range a flat Fremont Street run doesn’t. Kyle Canyon Road does the same on the Mount Charleston climb. Railroad Pass spends the same miles toward Boulder City. So does the I-15 climb through Jean toward Primm. Those climbs are energy problems at the car. They aren’t a reason to skip a shop if a part has failed.

NV Energy, as Nevada Power Company, serves most of the Las Vegas Valley. That includes Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, Winchester, Spring Valley, and Summerlin. Boulder City runs its own municipal electric utility. Valley Electric Association covers Blue Diamond, Indian Springs, and Sandy Valley. Overton Power District No. 5 covers Moapa Valley. Don’t call a rescue line to repair a home wall unit.

Winchester’s housing stock includes some of the older shares in the valley. Census figures use that age as a rough garage and panel proxy. A home-charger repair there is still an electrician’s job. Public charging inventory for Clark County couldn’t be confirmed from NREL’s station API on 2026-09-18. This page won’t guess a stall list or a distance to a plug. Name the lot you’re in and say whether the car will wake.

Patrols, airport jumps, and tows aren’t repair either

NDOT’s Freeway Service Patrol covers the busiest valley freeways. Quality Towing runs it, and GEICO sponsors it. Hours are 5:00am to 8:30pm, seven days a week, and it’s free to motorists. The patrol lists tire changes, jump starts, fuel, minor fire suppression, and traffic control. NDOT’s published materials don’t advertise EV charging or EV-specific service. That’s a gap in the brochure, not proof a patrol truck can’t stop.

Harry Reid parking in Paradise publishes free battery jumps at (702) 261-5122. That’s a 12-volt jump at the airport lots. The airport site doesn’t publish EV charging for those lots.

Nevada 511 and nvroads.com report closures and cameras. Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command is at (702) 486-4100. The cell shortcode for that desk is *647. NRS 484B.440 exempts a disabled vehicle from the no-stopping-on-highway rule. The statute sets no time limit on how long it may remain. Under NRS 484B.443, abandoned status on freeways and primary highways can start after 24 hours. The owner pays that removal under the statute. Non-consent tow rates sit with the Nevada Transportation Authority under NAC 706.408. There’s no single statewide maximum on this site. Confirm the tariff with the tow company before you authorize a hook.

A tow can move a silent EV to a dealer for repair. Mobile Tesla charging near you in the valley is the other path. Use it when you only need enough range to leave the stall. Basin-wide context lives on the Las Vegas Valley EV charging hub.

This line refers. It doesn’t wrench

Charge Pro LV matches stranded EV drivers with independent local operators. This matching line holds no trade license and owns no trucks or parts. It hasn’t performed past jobs on any car. The operators we connect you with are licensed and insured. They’re still not your mechanic for a shop repair.

They won’t replace a high-voltage pack in the lane. They won’t flash software or honor a warranty. They won’t repair a wall charger in a Whitney apartment or a Summerlin garage. If you called about a noise, they’ll point you to a shop.

Choose the job, then call

Stay with the car on a freeway shoulder and put the hazards on. Nevada has no toll roads, express lanes, or transponders. I-15, I-215, CC-215, US-95, I-11, and US-93 are free roads. I-15 HOV lanes from Silverado Ranch to the Spaghetti Bowl need two-plus occupants. That rule applies on weekday peaks, 6-8am and 4-6pm. An EV gets no solo HOV pass in Nevada. The federal single-occupant EV exemption expired on 2025-09-30.

If screens are black after a hot park in Green Valley, start with the 12-volt. The same 12-volt check applies in Anthem heat. If range hit zero on a grade, you need energy at the car. If it drives, but a message keeps returning, you need a service appointment.

When the car can’t move, call Charge Pro LV at (702) 935-4699. An operator quotes the job before anything starts. A shop is still who you call when you need a repair.
